Bview: “Super Smash Brothers” (for the WiiU and 3/2DS)
Hello again, this is Ben! In this piece I’ll be touching on a video game series that I
have found myself enjoying for many years now: Super Smash Brothers! A game that
I’d refer to anyone who enjoys having a smashing good time….ok that was terrible,
let me try that again…
A game that I’d refer to anyone who enjoys comical mischief, and good fun. As a
fellow Smash Bro, over the years I have encountered many different kinds of
fighters. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Over all I’d say that the most recent version
of the series (2014) is playable for everyone.
Now you may be thinking “Well what do you mean by the good, bad, and ugly?” By
this I simply mean: The good sports, the cocky players, and the sore losers. None the
less, this game is for everyone. Press a button and something happens. All there is to
it. Good clean fun that even grandma can enjoy…if she’s into that sorta thing.
What more could I possibly add to the countless reviews, opinions, and comments
on the series as a whole and the new release of awesomness within the latest
game?…Well…probably not a whole lot…but I’ll try. I’ll at least say that the most
obvious characteristic of this new game on the Wii U is…it’s so shiny! I’m sure we
can all pretty much say to some degree that new shiny things are nice. I know I
highly enjoy new shiny things…so this new shiny game is def where it’s at if your
looking for new and shiny!….Anyway, all in all it’s a good game. Personally, to me it
feels like a combination of the Melee and Brawl version…just that everyone is either
souped up or decked out….except those who have been turned down…just a little bit
though.
You don’t have to be some crazy skill master at it…granted the fight probably won’t
last as long because of such, but even so! It’s about the journey folks! Not the final
destination (lul)….I’m hoping somebody out there caught that…SO! Being crazy good
at it isn’t really a must in order to enjoy this game. I’d say it’s for everyone…or at
least those who appreciate a crazy good time with friends and family, or even a nice
test of skill if you’re online. Looking for quick, simple fun?Not sure where you stand on this game? Do you even smash bro???(Sorry, had to add that in somewhere..) It’s simple,
settle it in Smash! Everyone should at least play it once or twice…or a few thousand
times.
Also, I’d like to add my thoughts on the new fighters underway. Be warned, this may
become a spoiler for some….so…um…?…*pushes button in uncertainty* SPOILER
ALERT!!!!
Mewtwo strikes back and I think its awesome. I’ve heard a fighter say they felt he’s
“broken”. Nay I say. He’s the same but buffed up. Kinda like…Kirby almost…minus
new moves? Unless you count that crazy final smash. It sounds so creepy. Eitherway,
I think he’s cool. New taunt, refurbished look. I give em’ the thumbs up. He seems
the same if you ask me…but in a good way. Can’t wait to see what Lucas will bring to
the table. Maybe they’ll change his final smash? A new intro to the game when it
comes on as well? Hopes and dreams of a Sm4sh fan I guess. Well that’s about it
